Large Refinished Solid Wood French Provincial Buffet
This large vintage (possibly antique?) buffet manufactured by White Furniture Company is a true stunner, if I don't say so myself - so much so that I seriously debated keeping it. Refinished from top to bottom with no detail spared. The body was painted in a lovely cool cream called Cathedral Taupe. The top was sanded to bare wood and stained with a color called Sunbleached, which I am obsessed with - it's the perfect warm whitewash and showcases the wood grain beautifully. The insets of the 6 drawers and on the sides is adorned with a cream and khaki/gold textured wallpaper. The original substantial hardware was all restored to its original gold. This piece has six spacious cabinets and three drawers. The inside of the cabinets was a lovely pecan wood that I left intact. The drawers are lined with a gorgeous cream and gold wallpaper. All drawers and doors open and close easily. This could be used in a dining room / living room, but would also work perfectly as a console or a dresser. Dimensions are 69”w x 31.5”h x 20”d.
