Solid Wood Buffet / Sideboard
I can't believe where this one started and where it ended! It went from old traditional mahogany buffet to a completely modern look. I never post before pictures, but I couldn't resist with this one. The entire piece was sanded down to raw wood. The top and drawer fronts were then stained with Fusion Stain and Finishing Oil in Cappuccino. I love how the wood took the stain! The frame was then painted in Bedford, a cream with gray undertones. All new antique brass hardware was added. And the drawers were lined with one of my favorite wallpapers, a black and white floral print that looks fabulous with the colors of the piece. I started by removing the top hutch and bottom trim to give it a more modern feel. Can you believe this is the same piece!? Dimensions: 49in L x 33.,5in H x17.5in D
